JUST KEEP DIGGING

One can only hope that Gabriel Heinze is being misquoted every time he is in the press. I'm sure this next round of quotes will endear him even more to the staff and fans at United.

"Things haven't started the way they should have done but I'm sure they'll
change,'' Heinze told The Sun.

"My situation isn't easy. The directors are a bit annoyed.

"But I always did what I felt was correct. I'm never going to say 'no' to Argentina.

"There won't be any kind of reprisal because I didn't do anything wrong."

However there are a few signs of encouragement. He went on

"I'm going to put my life on the line for United,

"I want to respond to what has happened through effort on the pitch.

"I'm going to show I can shine in the Premiership.

"United are an extraordinary team and will raise themselves."

Just when will that effort on the pitch actually arrive though?
