KEEP AT IT KEV

He continues:

"There is a lot of flak out there but that is nothing new. It is to be expected.

"If you don't expect it in my position then it would be me that would be foolish.

"Whatever people are saying I take it fully. I don't in any way shirk my responsibility.

"But I cannot answer what boards are going to decide when results go wrong.

"It is nothing to do with the manager. The board runs the club and they have been very supportive.

"Even I know that if results keep going against me then they won't keep supporting me. The buck stops with the manager.

"If the chairman taps me on the shoulder and says 'hey, Kevin thanks but no thanks' then so be it. I will be distraught but I will understand it.

"I am a realist and know that it is part of the job. If you don't do well managers get sacked but I hope that does not happen to me."
