KEEP ROONEY QUIET AND STOP UNITED

Villa's keeper Thomas Sorenson hopes Villa can keep Wayne Rooney as quiet tomorrow as Denmark did on Wednesday in the chance of getting something from the game. He said:

"Wayne Rooney is one of the best players in the world.

"He has a huge amount of quality and proved it with the chance he took against us on Wednesday night.

"But Denmark largely kept him quiet and we won the game, so hopefully we can do the same thing with Villa on Saturday."

"Manchester United always represents a very hard game for us,"

"We will go there and do our best but we will need to be in good form to get anything from the game.

"From what I have seen so far, they look to be in good form and I think it is fair to say I will be a little bit busier than I was on Wednesday."

Rooney himself was far from happy with his own display on Wednesday.

"That was probably one of the worst games I've had for my country," He said.

"The first half wasn't the best but it was certainly better than the second. We're lucky it was only a friendly.

"There's a real feeling of disappointment. But in some ways it could be a good experience for me. It means I'm determined to ensure this never happens again.

"It's a horrible feeling, one I don't want to experience any more. It's bad enough to lose by one goal. To lose 4-1 is awful.

"We've let down a lot of England fans. Even when we were trailing 3-0 we could still hear them singing.

"Hopefully, we can come back in two weeks' time and put things right against Wales. We've got to."
