KHAN'S DAD SAYS UNITED WANT HIM

Bayern keeper Oliver Khan wants a move away from Munich and it seems his
dad is talking up a move to Old Trafford in the German press. Rolf Khan said:

"Oliver has had offers from Manchester United in the past, but the contact has
certainly intensified over the past few weeks."

A move to Old Trafford may be a little optimistic given Khan's age but Khan
definitely wants a move to England according to Bayern's goalkeeper coach
Sepp Maier. He told the German press

"He's (Oliver Khan) deadly serious.

"He wants to move and the English league is calling him. He's already achieved
everything with FC Bayern and that's why he's now looking for a new challenge."
