KLEBERSON OUT OF HIS DEPTH

Last updated : 29 November 2004 By editor

To say that Kleberson has not been a success is an understatement but at least he is having a nice time and has some friends to fall back on:

"My position has changed. I'm playing a more organisational role here, whereas in Brazil I had more of a free role. The football is definitely faster than in Brazil. There are more one-on-ones and you have to think before the ball even arrives, to have the pass already planned in your head.

"I'm very happy to experience a new culture. The only thing we knew in Brazil about English culture was that everything was closed by 5pm. Our child was born in England so it is a very important country for us. We're definitely adapting. We're getting used to drinking tea every day - and we have a lot of English friends now."
