LAST NIGHT I DREAMT THAT SOMEBODY LOVED ME

From The MEN:

‘United were embarrassing and now I think you've got to start asking some big questions about Fergie.

He's an outstanding manager, but tactically he's got a lot to answer for.

They were outclassed by a City side who wanted it more and deserved to win.

As a supporter of the team and the club United are at their best when their formation is 4-4-2.

I don't know about these calls for Fergie to go, but he's got to start looking at some of his players.

There are definite question marks about Veron for one. He's not suited to the English game, it's too physical and competitive for him.

It's up to the manager whether he goes, if it was me he'd have gone by now, although saying that I wouldn't have bought him in the first place.

And Diego Forlan. There comes a stage when you've just got to say I made a bad buy, that's nothing to be ashamed about.

You just had to look at United's bench to know something is wrong, who is going to make a difference there, Forlan, Fortune, I don't think so.

United have still got too many good players to be sussed out, but they are lacking creation. Paul Scholes was the best player on the park, but he was the only one playing.

Ryan Giggs was non-existent and I think it's about time John O'Shea got an extended run in the team.

He's been excellent all season but questions need to be asked about Rio Ferdinand and Laurent Blanc.

Liverpool and Arsenal will be rubbing their hands, and United will be looking over their shoulder when the European competition resumes, but I don't go along with the people who say Fergie should resign.
