Lazio yesterday agreed to settle their £10m debt to Manchester United following the transfer a year ago of Jaap Stam.
The Italian club had a transfer embargo slapped on them when they fell behind on payments to a number of clubs.
But that ban on transfer dealings was lifted 48 hours ago by FIFA, who were satisfied Lazio were now in a position to put their financial house in order.
