Alex Ferguson has confirmed he will see out the last three years of his contract at Old Trafford.

"My commitment is definitely for three years. People say I should use that last year introducing someone else. I may as well leave if that were the case.

"Making my decision not to retire last year was a good one because we did not win anything. I would want my last year to be my best year. I cannot complain about what I have achieved but I wanted to be in that Hampden final more than everyone."
