LEEDS WANT TO KEEP ROBINSON

New Leeds chairman Professor John McKenzie wants Paul
Robinson to stay at Leeds:

“I have never met Paul Robinson to discuss his future or a
new contract. I have met his two agents and made our
position clear. I was supportive of the principle that
Paul's contract will be reviewed this summer, but first we
had to escape from the relegation battle and know that our
Premier League future was secure. I also pointed out that
Paul did sign a new contract last season, which still has
three years to run. I am waiting for his agents to get back
to me to discuss this issue further, as we agreed in what
was a thoroughly amicable meeting.”
