And this season United have to take on the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea in the first five weeks of the new season and in October, Liverpool and Manchester City will be anxious to put one over Sir Alex’s men.
"I am just hoping we reach our form from the beginning of the season," said Vidic.
"We have a really tough schedule and some tough games in the first few weeks, but if we perform the best we can, I believe we can win the title again."
