The Guardian claim:
‘Ruud van Nistelrooy's agent Rodger Linse has approached Barcelona and Real Madrid to see if they are interested in buying the striker, according to the Spanish newspaper Marca.’
Last summer Linse was paid £1.2m for ensuring that Ruud signed a new contract, after a month or so of speculation not dissimilar to this.
