Louis Saha will be given the number nine shirt if and when he completes his
transfer from Fulham. The shirt has been vacant since Andy Cole left over two
years ago.

Saha said: "It's a fantastic honour to wear the shirt and I hope I can be a success like those who have worn it in the past.

"I'm always trying to become a better player and I believe I can improve so much more playing at United."
