Man Utd contracts: When every player's current deal expires

Manchester United have been in what feels like a constant state of transition for most of the last near-decade since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

The club hierarchy has been heavily criticised for its recruitment strategy during that time, with a number of contract decisions in recent years also questioned by supporters.

Having your best players secured with long-term contracts is a sign of good squad health, but any club that has accumulated deadwood on similarly long deals is unlikely to thrive.
