Man Utd predicted lineup vs West Ham - Premier League

Manchester United will look to put their disappointment of midweek Champions League defeat behind them on Sunday, as they visit in-form West Ham in the Premier League.

10-man United fell to defeat to Young Boys in Switzerland on Tuesday, but face the Hammers for the first of two meetings in league and cup this weekend. United are top of the Premier League going into the match at the London Stadium, and are on an English football record run for away matches without losing.

Here's the team Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could pick for the clash.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

David de Gea (GK) - Has been in good form this season so far and with Dean Henderson having had COVID, De Gea will maintain his position as number one for now.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) - Sent off in midweek. May start here before Diogo Dalot rotates in for the EFL Cup clash with the Hammers on Wednesday.

Raphael Varane (CB) - Should be handed another start here ahead of Victor Lindelof.

Harry Maguire (CB) - Almost always plays if he's fit.

Luke Shaw (LB) - Alex Telles is back in training but Luke Shaw is one of United's best players at the moment - very important for them and will play again here.

2. Midfielders

Scott McTominay (CM) - Now, there's doubt over whether Scott McTominay will even feature this weekend given he's just undergone minor surgery. He's been in training for a couple of days, but everything seems to point to this one being too early for him. That is, until you remember just how important he is to the team. Solskjaer will be tempted to match up Rice & Soucek with the energy McFred will bring. If there any chance, he might well play.

Fred (CM) - The other half of McFred. Might need to play a little better than he has been recently though.

Bruno Fernandes (AM) - Has connected quite well with Cristiano Ronaldo in their first two games together in red, and will need to do so again to make the difference in a difficult game.

3. Forwards

Mason Greenwood (RW) - Missed out in midweek but should be rested and ready to go again for this one. His eye for goal was displayed in this fixture last season, with an excellent finish on the turn.

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - Three goals in two games so far, and United could really do with his goals again in east London.

Paul Pogba (LW) - Perhaps the kind of game to see Pogba on the left again - though it could mean Jadon Sancho drops to the bench. Pogba is the league's assist king so far this season and his creativity will be needed in advanced positions against a team who are difficult to break down.
