Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Dundee United's Benjamin Siegrist as they prepare themselves for an overhaul of their goalkeeper department.
The Red Devils are braced for the exit of current number two Dean Henderson, who is ready to push for an exit from Old Trafford after another season stuck behind David de Gea in the pecking order.
Veteran fourth choice Lee Grant is expected to leave when his contract expires in the summer, with a coaching role for him being discussed previously, and his departure would leave just 35-year-old Tom Heaton as De Gea's sole back-up if Henderson also goes.

The 30-year-old, whose own contract is winding down, is familiar to United scout Tony Coton from their mutual time at Aston Villa. A Switzerland native, Siegrist joined Villa's Under-18s in 2009 and left the club in 2016, having failed to make a single appearance for the club.
United will continue to search for possible options as they brace themselves for Henderson's departure. Newcastle were keen in January and are expected to reignite their interest in the summer, while Tottenham have since been linked with the 25-year-old.
