Man Utd's Contract Offer to Erling Haaland Revealed as Club Grow Concerned by Mino Raiola

Manchester United are said to be happy to offer Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland a staggering £200,000-a-week contract to move to Old Trafford in January.

Haaland is widely cited as one of United's top priorities ahead of the winter transfer window, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already suggested that he knows exactly what the teenager wants to do next month.

The Sun claim to have a few more details about United's apparent offer. The Red Devils are thought to be ready to offer Haaland a £200,000-a-week contract to seal a switch to Old Trafford in January, before returning to Salzburg on loan for the remainder of the year.

Their offer will also include a number of performance-related bonuses, including winning trophies, sealing Champions League qualification and even winning the Premier League Golden Boot.

However, that report claims that United are in talks with Haaland over a deal which is worth £76m, a figure at odds with other sources.

Much of the recent reporting on Haaland has suggested that he actually has a £17m release clause in his contract, meaning talk of a £76m bid is well wide of the mark and throwing the rest of the story's credibility into doubt.

The Daily Star add that United have doubts over the impact of Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola. Raiola also represents current United midfielder Paul Pogba, and there is a fear that the Frenchman could get involved in the deal.

Raiola is eager to see Haaland move somewhere else, but it is thought that he would be happy to encourage the striker to head to Old Trafford if United finally agree to sell Pogba as soon as possible.

Pogba is said to still have his heart set on a move to Real Madrid, but United remain adamant that he is not for sale mid-season.

Raiola has tried to work with United to convince them to let Pogba go, and the club fear he could use his influence to sway Haaland's final decision.

With Borussia DortmundJuventus and RB Leipzig all thought to be keen, it is by no means a certainty that United will end up with Haaland, and United do not want Raiola to make things even harder for them.
