Manchester United have laid down a 17million pound offer for Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha, as they look to beat Arsenal and Spurs to the 20 year old's signature. United have made multiple bids for the winger, and it is believed that Palace have finally accepted a deal.

Wilfried Zaha reportedly met Sir Alex Ferguson in London to discuss a move, and Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish is fully aware that Zaha met the Manchester United boss.

it is understood that United?s plan is for Zaha to be signed this month, loaned back to Palace until the end of the season and for a guaranteed date of purchase to be agreed for the summer.

Speaking last Wednesday, chief executive David Gill said that United would be willing to let the newly-capped England international re-join the promotion chasers on loan.

?He is one of the players we are looking at,? said Gill.
