Manchester United welcome West Ham to Old Trafford for a Premier League meeting that may have lasting repercussions in the top four race on Saturday afternoon.
Ralf Rangnick's only defeat since taking the helm on an interim basis - a 1-0 loss to Wolves at the start of 2022 - was Manchester United's fourth at home of this Premier League season. Only the division's three promoted sides have suffered more defeats in their own stadium going into the weekend's fixtures.
Here's the lineup Rangnick may call upon to turn that dreary home record around.
Manchester United predicted lineup vs West Ham - Premier League
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
David de Gea (GK) - The club's player of the month for both November and December is already well on his way to claiming a hat-trick that highlights the amount of work he is forced into.
Diogo Dalot (RB) - With Aaron Wan Bissaka's availability still doubtful, Dalot is set to retain his position.
Victor Lindelof (CB) - No player featured for more minutes under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but a spell of COVID-19 has punctuated Lindelof's availability for Rangnick.
Raphael Varane (CB) - The former Real Madrid trophy hoarder is one game shy of his 400th club appearance.
Alex Telles (LB) - Portugal's second-most prolific assist provider during his four full seasons in Iberia has only created one Premier League goal since February 2021.
Fred (CM) - Including a strike on Rangnick's managerial bow in the Old Trafford dugout, Fred has had a direct hand in as many Premier League goals across his last seven appearances (four) as he could muster in his first 86 in the competition.
Scott McTominay (CM) - Manchester United's supposed defensive midfielder has scored as two goals during Rangnick's brief tenure - tied for first place in the squad.
Bruno Fernandes (AM) - Having scored or created four of Manchester United's last five goals, Fernandes finally appears to be clicking into gear under Rangnick.
Mason Greenwood (RW) - The only player to feature in all nine of Rangnick's matches so far has hit five league goals for the third consecutive season.
Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - Hardly the only public show of petulance in Ronaldo's lengthy career concluded his return from injury in midweek.
Anthony Elanga (LW) - Tipped for a 'great future' by compatriot Lindelof, the 19-year-old has two goals from just four Premier League starts in a nascent senior career.
