It should be no great surprise that David O'Leary's porcine features and 'hammy' discussions about his 'boibies' have attracted the denizens of an Italian city more famous for its pork products than its football team. According to The Sun Parma have made an approach for pig-face to take over as their new boss.

A Parma source disclosed: "David is very well regarded in Italy for his tactical knowledge. "He is highly rated after the way his Leeds side performed against Roma, Lazio and AC Milan in European matches over the last two seasons. Those displays made a big impression on our president, who is keen to meet with David."

What??? 'tactical knowledge'??
Someone's telling porkies methinks, arf, oink
