Manchester United’s interim boss Michael Carrick has hinted that the club could still be active before Monday's transfer deadline.
Carrick has admitted the hamstring injury to Patrick Dorgu - who is now sidelined for two months - has forced a rethink of their "no-buy" policy.
"Never say never because situations are thrown up," Carrick remarked.
United had previously insisted they would only pursue long-term targets, but the loss of the in-form Danish winger may spark a last-minute move for attacking cover.
