MILAN ARE STILL WARY

Hernan Crespo thinks Milan have to be extra careful to ensure their way into the next round of the Champions League.

'We shouldn't think that we are already through,' said the Argentine. 'It was an important goal but it hasn't decided anything yet, the win was just a good first step.

'In games like these it can be fatal if you stop concentrating,'

'They have shown that on many occasions against many different teams.

They are a team that always battles and that is why we have to be on our guard right until the last minute at the San Siro.

'Sure, we got a great result which is to the credit of the whole team who showed we can play good football but also we can cope when things aren't going for us.'

Gennaro Gattuso said the result was proof of Milan's quality.

'Isn't there a saying in football that great teams are capable of winning even
when the going is tough? We did that once again,' said the Italy international.
While Ancelotti is worried about United's pace.

'It will be a very difficult game in Milan. Their pace is formidable. Manchester are a strong team with determination and speed,' he added.

'I was very happy with our performance - we were able to play our game and keep possession and I was particularly pleased with the way we were able to
break up their rhythm.

'But we were also lucky. On a couple of occasions in the first half their pace had us in trouble and they could have taken the lead which would have made it an entirely different game.

'This was a historic result for us but what matters is getting through to the next round'.
