A HUGE family meeting holds the key to Rio Ferdinand's future.

And sometime this afternoon or tomorrow morning the white smoke will billow from a chimney in the South London suburb of Peckham announcing that the big decision has been made.

To return to Leeds or head for the Old Trafford glory trail is the big question and Ferdinand cannot say which road he will take.

He said: "I honestly don't know what I will do. But my family will play a big part in helping me make up my mind.I will listen to my mam Janice and dad Julian and I will talk to my younger brother Anton, who plays at West Ham, and my sisters.I realise this decision is important to a lot of people - the clubs, the fans, everyone - but in the end I have to do what's right for me and my family."
