MONEY CAN'T BUY YOU LOVE

"I signed a new deal last week," said Darren Fletcher "That
was good to get it sorted but I wouldn't say it was the
highlight of my career.

"I had one year left to run and the manager said I had been
doing that well that I deserved a new contract and to sign
it was brilliant.

"But money doesn't mean anything to me. Scoring goals and
being happy is the most important thing to me and all the
money in the world couldn't buy that.

"I have become known as a super sub but it is not a role I
particularly enjoy," said Fletcher. "But I have got to
accept the manager's decision and do my best to get on.

"It was a bit frustrating not to start and I am always
disappointed to be sub even at United.

"I want to play and become a regular for my country and the
club."
