Rules club Essendon. Essendon chief executive Peter Jackson
completed the terms of the deal during a recent two-week
visit to England, according to the Melbourne Age newspaper.
United's business development director Ben Hatton is quoted
as saying: "Of all the football clubs we've spoken to around
the world, Essendon is the closest parallel to our
business."
Apparently United are hoping that this will help to open up
the Aussie market.
