MORE FROM DWIGHT YORKE

"After this weekend I'll have two-and-a-half months without a club and without playing competitive football. I've had an offer to train with Manchester United but I know that I need games too. I have another year with Sydney but we're looking at a possibility to make sure I keep playing competitive football until the World Cup. I've not accepted it yet, but I'd like to say thanks to Alex Ferguson for allowing me to train with the lads."

And the Treble:

"It was an historical day and a special moment for everyone involved with United, but this is different. At 34, you're in your twilight years, so to be going to the World Cup is fantastic. I was back for 10 days over Christmas and I trained with United. I spoke to Gary Neville, Rio (Ferdinand) and (Wayne) Rooney, and they're all excited about it. But we'll just try to advance as far as we can and give a good account of ourselves. Everyone's going on about the England game, but we have to play Paraguay and Sweden as well. There's a lot more games to be played so we've got to treat every game as we come to it and take one step at a time."
