It was announced yesterday that the Dutchman who invented
Big Brother, John de Mol, has increased his holding in
United from 2.9% to 3.5%.
This follows the move last month by JP McManus and John
Magnier to increase their shareholding to 10.37%, making
them the largest single shareholders at United.
However this should not be too much of a surprise as it is
reported that Mr de Mol met with Peter Kenyon a month ago
and informed him that he would be buying more shares as he
feels that the club is undervalued.
