Scholes said: "I don't think the standard is improving, I just feel we have not been playing as well as we have done in the past couple of years, just getting the results at the moment is the most important thing. I don't think teams are doing things any differently against us it is just that we haven't been good enough to break them down as easily as we used to."
"You just have to try to be as patient as you can and wait for the openings. We can't really afford to draw many more games. We need to more or less win every game and be hopeful that Liverpool start drawing or lose a couple of games."
Scholes told MUTV: "If we want to win the league we have to start winning the big games and there is no bigger games than Arsenal and Liverpool. I still think we can do it."
