When he first picked up the shin injury from a vicious assault by Jamie Carragher in the game against Liverpool last week, it was feared that he would be out of action for around a month.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said: "Nani has made great progress. He has not trained yet but he has been on the bike and is doing things like that. The stitches have done their bit and healed the wound."
