Former Red's Captain Steve Bruce has joined the ever growing list of players, managers and pundits to back Ryan Giggs after his loss of form. Before yesterday's game the Birmingham Manager said:
"Ryan is a wonderful talent and we were all shocked at what happened to him about five weeks ago. It just shows you how fickle football is when certain elements are having a go at him.
"He's played at United for something like 12 years and is probably one of the most exciting players that we have produced in Britain in the last 20 years without a doubt.
"It does show you just how fickle things can be - but knowing Ryan the way I do, I know he's got the strength of character to see off that kind of thing.
"He's done that and has come back better than ever. He scored two against West Ham in the FA Cup and he had another good game at Southampton when he was again on target."
