NO PRESSURE ON ROONEY

"I'm wary about putting more and more pressure on him, but I don't think it bothers him, to be honest. He was brilliant against Croatia, he was good against Switzerland but his performance against France was the real eye-opener for me. To see the things that he was doing against world-class defenders was fantastic. He's been brilliant since the tournament started."

"He must just get his feet up and relax. I was in a major tournament (Euro 96) at the age of 20 and had nothing like the impact that he's had. But it was still difficult for me to relax after wins against Scotland and Holland. Hopefully, he'll be up for it again on Thursday and produce the same sort of performance - as will the rest of the players."
