Fergie on the transfer situation:

“We will have to wait and see. With our injured players coming back on stream I believe we have a big enough and good enough squad to handle whatever comes our way. I have been making a few team changes lately, essential as I see it when you are faced with so many games in a short time.

“We did very well when the injury crisis was at its height, but it would have been unrealistic to have expected that high level of performance to have been sustained by the same small group of players. Fortunately we are much nearer full strength now and I hope that by judicious use of our full squad we will be able to hold out own on four fronts.”
