"Henrik is going home - 100 per cent," said United chief executive David Gill.

"When we took him on loan all parties agreed March 12 would be the expiry date and that will be the case. We are not going back on that."

"Henrik loves it here," added Gill.

"He has done fantastically, he has enjoyed it immensely. We have benefited from it but there are other issues.

"I have not spoken to him directly about it. That has been dealt with by Sir Alex and (assistant manager) Carlos Queiroz.

"But everyone respects it. The decision is there. It has been made and we move on."
