NORWAY NOT HAPPY WITH UNITED

Mail on Sunday:

The Norway striker's injury could not have come at a worse time, as today's game is due to be Henrik Larsson's last in the Premiership unless he has a change of mind over extending his loan spell.

There was anger in Norway on Friday night after it emerged that United had not informed Solskjaer's national team coach Aage Hareide about the surgery.

Solskjaer will miss his country's vital Euro 2008 qualifiers against Bosnia and Turkey and the Norwegian FA are planning an official complaint to FIFA.

Norway team doctor Thor- Einar Anderson said: "We knew nothing about this until United announced it. It is a bolt out of the blue for us. Nobody among the Norwegian team management was consulted or informed and we are very disappointed at the way United have gone about this."
