NOW IS THE TIME FOR ACTION

The IMUSA protest against the relentless succession of early
kick offs this season is less than a week away. They are
looking to start off a national campaign on Saturday at the
Fulham match. Everyone from Fergie downwards has had enough
of this constant disruption and it is up to every supporter
to show his or her discontent. If this planned protest falls
flat it will be a green light to the powers that be to do
whatever they want with our game. Anyone fancy a Thursday
afternoon away at Southampton because it fits in well with
Asian broadcasting timetables?

Organised through IMUSA and the website www.3pmsat.co.uk
thousands of cards bearing "3pm" will be handed out for fans
to display their opposition to being messed about by the TV
companies, the police and the PL.

To attract as much publicity as possible we ask those Reds
primarily situated in the lower sections of Old Trafford to
pick up a card to take into the ground with them. Cards will
be distributed outside the ground with 3pm campaigners
situated on the main approaches to the stadium.

IMUSA also need volunteers to give up an hour or so of their
time before the game. If you are prepared to make this small
sacrifice then e-mail windy@imusa.org to offer help/support.
If you sit in either East Lower, West Lower or behind the
corner flags then IMUSA would especially like to hear from
you.

Or you could just turn up to one of the meeting points on
the day of the game (SMB Way, North Stand Bridge, Railway
Bridge) and let the person there know that you're willing to
distribute placards.

A website has been set up with an on-line petition at

www.3pmsat.co.uk

Don't take the apathetic attitude and leave it to someone
else. Don't be cynical and ask what a few lousy cards will
do. IMUSA and co are asking for a guarantee that 50% of
United's games start at 3pm on a Saturday. If you want your
football back in its traditional slot do your bit to achieve
that aim now before it's too late. Don't leave it to someone
else.
