NOEL GALLAGHER sat in a free executive box to watch his heroes Manchester City play Blackburn yesterday - then charged the club £3,000 to see his gig.
An insider at the club said last night:

"It's a bit rich that Noel enjoyed a great afternoon out at the match with all his mates without anyone of them having to put their hands in their pockets. But when it comes round to the gig in the evening the club has to pay for a box for the players to see the band. It seems tight-fisted.Noel is a huge City fan and has been to both of their home games this year.He hasn't paid for either and is treated like a real VIP because that is the way the club feel about him."

A bunch of Manchester United players also paid for star treatment at the Oasis gig last night.
DAVID BECKHAM, RYAN GIGGS, PHIL NEVILLE, PAUL SCHOLES and OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER all attended the gig and sat in a box alongside their bitter (arf) Man City rivals.
