RIVAL Arsenal and Manchester United stars went on a drinking spree together, it was reported last night. Arsenal team-mates Thierry Henry and Freddie Ljungberg joined Manchester United stars Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Mikael Silvestre and Rio Ferdinand in Barcelona.

They arrived at a Spanish hotel on Sunday night and were due to film a £10million TV ad at 10am yesterday but they fitted in a marathon bender beforehand.

Inside the Danzatori disco club they downed £6 whisky and cokes and vodka and cokes and £5 lagers in the VIP section. Van Nistelrooy was the first to arrive back at the hotel at 4.10am, while Silvestre and Ljungberg followed at 5.35am and 4.40am — both accompanied by blondes.

But Ferdinand and Henry were the last back at 6am
