O'SHEA COMES THROUGH

United have been boosted by John O'Shea's performance against Bayern
Munich last night. The Republic of Ireland international played 20 minutes after
having a knee operation earlier in the summer. SAF said:

"He has come on very well,"

"The surgery is straightforward for this type of injury and the players recover
quickly.

"He had the operation at the beginning of the month, so his recovery has been
very good."
