“Hopefully I'll know more after a scan. I went over on the
ball and the injured the tendon on my hamstring and the
lateral ligament. There's not a lot I can do. I tried to
play on but I was kidding myself and then the knock I took

“John O'Shea has some soreness in his tendon behind the knee
but our medical staff don't think it’s too serious. It was
just as well to send him home to check it out and he'll be
having a scan back in Manchester."
