O'SHEA THANKS THE FANS

John O'Shea:

"I am more confident as a person and a player. The
confidence the crowd has given me is amazing. If I made a
bad pass or something last season the crowd would just pick
me up again, so hopefully that will continue.

"It's a strange feeling but it gives you such a buzz when
you hear the whole Stretford End at Old Trafford singing a
song for you, you just want to enjoy it.

"They say it gets harder after the first season, but I'm
looking forward to the hard work. The more games you get
involved in, the more you get into the team, the feeling you
get is a lot better. It's hard to explain but you get a feel
for something and I have got that feeling right now and I'm
looking forward to starting.

"I feel more comfortable around the first-team squad than I
did this time last year, you get more relaxed about the
players and get to know them a lot more. It's just the same
as any workplace I suppose, you more you get to know the
people, the easier it becomes for you, but you still have to
put in the hard work."
