OT, BEHIND THE SCENES

Following a recent interview Peter Kenyon gave to Le Monde newspaper in which he claimed United would visit Philadelphia next summer we have had it confirmed that the US tour will provisionally include matches in Seattle, LA, NY and Philadelphia.

Not in Boston as has previously been reported. United expect to confirm all games next month.

More '60s legends to tell all:

Denis Law and Nobby Stiles have both got autobiogs on the way, Law for a very large amount meaning the "tell-all" potential is high.

A reader/hermit mails in:

Gordon Brown is set to make Employee Benefit Trusts totally taxable. Several players have been reportedly paying allsorts of stuff into these trusts, including United's, to avoid tax, the hospital-swindling fucks. Well done Gordon. Still partly a socialist at heart.

Another boring reader informs us:

Roy Gardner has been appointed by Gordon Brown to run a government taskforce on apprenticeships. I suppose that immunises Fergie against any plc accusations of him not devoting himself 100% to United with regard to his horses. ie monkey see, monkey do.
