Valerenga director Kjetil Siem told Nettavisen: "We can't sit still and see the chance of Ronny Johnsen returning back to Norway without joining the fight to try and sign him.
"We must offer Johnsen an attractive deal to choose Valerenga, if he decides to return back to Norway.
"This is a case for the board and I will speak to them soon."
