"We're all very excited about the tournament after the experience we had in 2002.

"It's important for us to stick together as a team and play to the best of our ability. If we can do that we hope we can do as well as we did four years ago.

"It's going to be tough because we're up against two strong teams in France and Switzerland.

"I've been joking with Mikael [Silvestre] and Louis [Saha] about the France game. They've wished me all the best in the tournament except when we play France.

"Brazil are the favourites but I think England have a good chance.

"They have some great players and, if he is fit, Wayne Rooney will show the world how good he really is. Providing they get a bit of luck, they have a great chance."
