Paul Pogba limps out of France training

The international break has barely even started, but Manchester United fans are already sweating after footage emerged of midfielder Paul Pogba limping out of France training on Monday.

Pogba is serving a domestic three-match suspension with United after being sent off in the 5-0 defeat to Liverpool and still has one more game left to serve before he can return.

That match will come against Watford on November 20, but some fans are already worrying that Pogba might not even make it to that game after he was spotted limping away early from France training.

It was RMC Sport's Loic Tanzi who revealed the footage, stating that Pogba appeared to injure himself while taking a shot and he was unable to complete the session.

There's no mention of the severity of the issue, but Didier Deschamps will obviously be concerned nonetheless.

France's next game comes against Kazakhstan on November 13, before Les Bleus close out the international break with a tricky trip to Finland three days later.

Deschamps will be particularly disappointed if Pogba is injured as he recently admitted that he was excited to give the 28-year-old the chance to get away from his tricky situation at Old Trafford.

“He’s one of the players that arrives when things aren’t going as well," Deschamps said (via RMC Sport). "It’s another context and we know the importance of Paul with Les Bleus. He’s a figurehead, a leader. It’s not the same situation as in Manchester.

"On top of that, he was on a red card and a three-game suspension. He'll be happy to be here. He's also got experience despite this deficit with his club."

As for United, medical staff are monitoring Luke Shaw's concussion before making a decision on whether to release him to the England squad, but Marcus Rashford has already pulled out through injury.
