Paul Pogba on verge of rejoining Juventus on four-year deal

Paul Pogba is on the verge of rejoining Juventus on a free transfer, 90min understands, with the Frenchman set to undergo a medical this week.

Pogba left Manchester United for the second time at the end of the 2021/22 season ahead of the expiry of his contract.

The 29-year-old ultimately decided against penning fresh terms at Old Trafford following what was a tumultuous six years back at the club he signed for from Juve for £89m.

90min reported in mid-June that Pogba had agreed to rejoin the Bianconeri and was ready to sign a four-year deal, despite interest from both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

Although an official agreement has been delayed due to commercial details such as image rights being ironed out, Pogba is finally on the verge of rejoining Juve on a contract that will run until 2026.

Sources have told 90min the former Man Utd man will undergo a medical this week ahead of reporting for pre-season training with his new club.

The midfielder's family love the city of Turin and he was enticed by manager Juventus' desire to build a competitive team around him and the opportunity to work with former boss Max Allegri once again.

The France international arguably enjoyed the two best club seasons of his career under Allegri between 2014 and 2016, winning two league and cup doubles, reaching the UEFA Champions League final, and earning a spot in the FIFPro World XI.
