Peter Kenyon:

"Youth development is the heart of the team. You have to
look at our two most successful periods and that is when the
manager and the club have been concentrating on developing
the youth side, the 50's and 60's with Sir Matt and the 90's
with Sir Alex.

"Youth development is important and we have spent and
developed our Academy and have probably got one of the best
facilities in Europe. We have brought in Francisco Filo and
strengthened our coaching staff under Les Kershaw, and those
are important statements.

Speaking on MUTV, Kenyon said: "I think we are sending the
message that youth is an important part of Manchester
United's history and future and the youth team picking up
the FA youth Cup has again demonstrated that and this is
about building for the future."
