PHIL NEVILLE NEEDS A DRUG TEST

Whilst we’re glad they are not throwing in the towel, his thoughts do seem a little optimistic.

Phil Neville
"Winning again makes everyone relax a little bit more training was a lot happier this morning because we had a good weekend. We had scored some goals and played well. It is nice to build up to the Arsenal game with that confidence behind us.”

"If we win at Highbury next week you never know what might happen. Last season they slipped up towards the end. We have seen teams slip up before with this kind of lead. We know from experience the title is not over until they hand that trophy over at the end of May. Trophies are not won in March."

Speaking on MUTV, Neville added:
"The game at Highbury and the semi-final are the games that any player wants to play in. At this club we are probably the one team that actually enjoys playing against Arsenal. We enjoy the test, we enjoy the big game. They are a fantastic side and it should be a great game on Sunday."

On Giggs he added:
"People continue to question him but you speak to any Manchester United fan and they all love Ryan Giggs. You ask any of the players, the one player they would probably pick on the team-sheet first is Ryan. He is a match winner. He can win a game for you on his own or set up a goal for you. Ryan is world class and I am glad he is on our side and not someone else's. I suppose everyone has critics but it is how you answer them that makes you the player you are. Every time he has questions asked of him, he has answered them in the best possible way by producing a performance like he did on Saturday."
