"Taking them back to Old Trafford, we are maybe now favourites to win the game," said Phil. "But I don't think there is much to choose between the two teams. We would have taken a 0-0 result before the game, but we thought it was a good performance from us. We worked hard and managed to keep Chelsea down to a couple of chances.

"Our form hasn't been that bad. Saturday was just a bit of a blip. A lot of credit has to go to Exeter. But we had to battle back against Chelsea. The manager picked a team that he thought could do well and for large parts of game we did do well. With perhaps a little bit more quality and belief we could have taken something more out of the game.

"A draw was probably a fair result, although Chelsea maybe had a couple of shots cleared off the line. It was a bit of a stalemate but it was a good game to play in."
