Bolton fans have spoken out against early kick offs:

Kath Brown, the Bolton Supporters' Association secretary,
said: "The early starts are tough on supporters who come a
long way and on those who work on Saturday mornings.

"I know the noon starts are designed to stop people drinking
before games. But I think that if they want a drink they'll
get one while most fans will behave properly whatever the
kick-off time.

"Monday night games are also unpopular because they finish
late and supporters have to go to work the next morning."

Bolton themselves have said:

"We have received some criticism for the early kick-off
times against United and City. Unfortunately the police
dictate the times to us when high-profile games come around.

"We are fully supportive of their actions and we will work
closely with them to improve our record."
