Pilgrims Hoping To Keep Defender

The 19-year-old United defender joined The Pilgrims on a loan deal that is due to expire at the end of this month but Argyle are hoping to extend his stay at Home Park.

"Cathcart could be going back but we are in negotiations about extending his loan deal," Sturrock told his club's official website on Monday.

Cathcart has made 15 starts for Argyle since making his loan move to Home Park in August.
