‘Gerard Pique celebrated his 18th birthday on Wednesday (2 Feb) by signing professional forms with Manchester United. The Reds captured the cultured centre-half from Barcelona in the summer and he has impressed in three appearances this season. Pique made his debut against Crewe in the Carling Cup back in October. He was also involved in the Champions League defeat to Fenerbahce in Istanbul and the FA Cup draw with Exeter at Old Trafford.’
